Dados da Secretaria de Segurança Pública (SSP) colocam Perdizes e Lapa entre as regiões que mais concentraram ocorrências de roubos e furtos de veículos, desde carros e motos até caminhões, no primeiro semestre deste ano em toda a capital. Para se ter ideia, dos 93 distritos policiais, o de Perdizes aparece na quarta colocação com 600 casos envolvendo roubo e furto de veículos. A Lapa, por sua vez, encontra-se na décima quarta posição com 466 ocorrências. Considerando somente a zona noroeste, Pirituba surge na vigésima posição com apenas 28 casos a menos, enquanto o distrito de Vila Pereira Barreto contabiliza até agora 292 registros. Os DPs da Freguesia e do Jaraguá apresentam números igualmente próximos: 284 e 242 casos de furtos e roubos de veículos. A efeito de comparação, o DP do Bom Retiro, no centro da cidade, foi o que registrou o menor número de ocorrências desse tipo: apenas 39.
Balanço geral
No balanço geral de ocorrências, a zona leste é a que contabilizou o maior número casos: 10.984. Foram 4.192 ocorrências na zona norte e outras 2.899 na oeste. O total de casos na cidade foi de 27.745 registros nesses seis primeiros meses de 2023.
