A Prefeitura de São Paulo suspenderá o programa Ruas Abertas no próximo domingo, 28, por causa do segundo turno das eleições. As avenidas Paulista e Sumaré estão entre as vias participantes do programa.
A medida atende a um pedido do Tribunal Regional Eleitoral (TRE) de São Paulo e tem objetivo de garantir o deslocamento dos eleitores e o acesso às zonas eleitorais durante a votação.
A SPTrans irá reforçar o transporte municipal em todas as regiões da cidade para facilitar o acesso dos eleitores às suas seções eleitorais neste domingo. No total, a frota de ônibus será acrescida em 26% em relação a um domingo normal. Os coletivos circularão normalmente nas vias que integram o programa Ruas Abertas, como a Avenida Paulista.
